Pastor (Prof) Abayomi Adebayo is the founding President of Christ Dominion Team International and the Presiding Pastor of Jesus Centre Church. He is the Principal Proprietor of the Dominion Covenant Academy. His is a Member of the Obafemi Awolowo University Christian Community Mobilization Committee;

Prof Abayomi Adebayo was born on the 2nd of February 1962 in Osun-State. Attended Oduduwa College, Ile-Ife and completed his Secondary School Education in 1981. On Higher Education, he holds B. Sc., M. Sc., and Ph. D. (Economics) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

He completed His Ph. D. in 1999 and was a winner of Research Grant for Ph. D degree Thesis Writing, sponsored by African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) Nairobi. Kenya. Joined the Service of Obafemi Awolowo University on February 2nd 1992 as a Graduate Assistant and rose through the rank to become a Professor of Economics on 1st October 2008.

Professor Abayomi Adebayo attended the Haggai Institute, Maui. Hawaii. USA. in April/May 2009, for International Advanced Leadership Training with Leadership No. 827. Also, a life member: Nigerian Economic Society (NES).
He has served the University as Head, Department of Economics from 2009 to 2014; A member of the University Senate from October 2008; Member, Business Committee of Senate from 2011 to 2014; Chairman, Senate Taskforce Committee on Students’ Results since 2017; and The Chairman, University Board of Survey ,

Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti-State- 2014-2015. He is currently the Coordinator of the Development Policy Network in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

On consultancy assignment: Consultant on Public Procurement Procedure- European Union, Support to Reforming Institutions Programme (2009); Consultant on Strategic Analysis of Development Constraints and Priorities for Action in Southern Nigeria- CASSAD/USAID/MSI, 2003; Economist on the Analysis of the Role of the Nigerian University System in the Implementation of NEEDS, April 2004- NUC, Abuja; and Research Fellow, Development Policy Centre, Ibadan-1998-1999.

Research Focus: is on Economic Development Policy Issues in the areas of: Labor Market Implications of Health and Education, Human Capital Development issues in Nigeria; Monetary Policy and Unemployment in Nigeria; Wage Crisis in Nigeria and Fiscal Federalism; NGOs and Poverty Alleviation; Operation and Performance of the Contract Due Process (Now Bureau of Procurement); Public Service Rightsizing issues in Nigeria

Current Research: Development Responsibility Grant Issues in Development Financing in LDCs.
