The Mandate

1. Organize Annual CAMP Retreat for Teenagers in Secondary School in Nigeria.

This programme is one of the core mandates of CDT designed by divine instruction to “Interrupt Moral Decadence and End-Time Pollution among Youths Using Biblical Truth.” And the specific goals are to: sensitize youth to their uniqueness in life and destiny; equip youth with life and developmental skills to handle their total life; show them the indispensability of God in fulfilment; and lead young ones to submit to God and fear Him in all their ways. Our global burden is to build the knowledge and skills of every participating teenager in taking right decision on life issues.

The first retreat was conducted in August, 2009 at Camp Young, Ede, Osun State. The theme for that year retreat was: ‘Manifesting as Peculiar Stars’. The location was chosen to take the teenagers out of their familiar zone and secure their attention for the four-day programme. Following divine instruction, the programme is an annual event of the ministry. In 2010, the Theme was: ‘Born to Be Great;’ in 2011, the theme was: ‘Crown of Glory’; in 2012, the theme was: ‘Dominion Seed’; in 2013, the theme was: ‘Born for Signs and Wonders’; and the theme for 2014 was: ‘Children of 1Destiny’.

In 2015 the retreat theme was: ‘King’s Seed’; in 2016, the theme was: ‘Royal Generation’; in 2017, we considered: ‘Children of Promise’; at the Retreat in August 2018, the theme was: ‘Godliness and Excellence’; and 2019, Peculiar Star was the theme. We are trusting God that in this year 2020, the programme will hold with the theme: Living for Purpose. The programme over the years has been run on free transportation, accommodation and feeding with an average of about 1200 participants annually.

2. Run Monthly Follow-Up Outreach to Teenagers in Secondary Schools.

The team visits about 25 secondary schools in Ile-Ife and surrounding communities (Modakeke, Ipetumodu and Moro in Osun State. Nigeria) on monthly basis. The key mission is to share the word of God with students on the schools’ morning assemblies.

The sharing of the word has always been accompanied with distribution of tracts that carry the monthly message in printed form. To support this vision 16,000 tracts are printed monthly for distribution in secondary schools.

3. Raise Purpose-Driven Leaders among Fresh Graduates in Nigeria through Sensitization Workshops.

This involves running special leadership training for graduating students tagged: ‘FRESH GRADUATE: What Next?’ It has currently been reduced to a day annual programme designed to run after the Rain Semester examinations in Obafemi Awolowo University.

The goal is to equip the participating fresh graduates with basic knowledge on how they can position themselves for the global market. Within this goal, raise Bible-based and prayer-framed principles that can help the young graduates in taking delivery of their dreams and still be instrument in God’s hand to build their nation.

4. Run Monthly Dominion Night of Praises and Prayers (Night Vigil).

The vision for Dominion Night is based on Acts 16:25-30 and how Paul and Silas prayed and sang to God in their distress hour to secure deliverance. Dominion Night is a special time of praises, testimonies and prayers in God’s presence all night on every last Friday of every month.

We have consistently engaged in advertisement to invite members of the public to participate in this lifetransforming and miracle- commanding programme.

5. Run Spiritual Clinics for the Oppressed- Freedom Class.

This involves Christ-centred teaching (John 8:32) and prayers (James 5:13-15) to deal with strange and unexplainable life challenges on every 2nd Saturday of the month between 7.00 am and 9.00 am. It has been running as a customised faith clinic, designed for divine intervention and deliverance from oppression of the devil and other problems.

The challenges in question include: barrenness; strange demonic afflictions and attacks; delay in marriage and stagnancy in destiny.

6. Run Dominion Time on Air for World Evangelization.

Dominion Time on air started in 2003 on Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Ile-Ife on Tuesday by 7.30pm. It expanded to Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC), Oke- Itase. Osogbo. However, with advancement in technology and the pervasive use of Cable Television, we have had to stop broadcasting on those stations and relocated to World Dove Media.

Currently, Dominion Time on Air runs every Monday by 8.00 pm on Dove Television for global coverage. The aim is to reach those outside the church through television and affirm the Lordship of Jesus.

7. Establish and Run JESUS CENTRE as the Church Arm of the Ministry.

By divine instruction, the name Jesus Centre was dropped in my Spirit at Dublin, capital of the Republic of Ireland in 2007. And on getting back to Nigeria, as a pastor, I thought God was leading me to raise another chapel for GOFAMINT, the church I was in then. God ensured that all attempts to do it within the church was frustrated by operating mechanism within the system. However, in my Advanced Leadership Training at Maui in the US in 2009, I understood by the spirit of God that the name was given to be the Church Arm of Christ Dominion Team.

Thus, by the grace of God, the first Jesus Centre Church was established on 12th July 2009 at Bolapat Court, Mayfair. Ile-Ife. From Mayfair, God moved Jesus Centre to our current permanent site along, Ife-Ibadan Expressway, Ajebandele. Ile-Ife.

At Jesus Centre, we run fellowship activities on:
Wednesdays – Prayer Meeting (5.30 pm);
Thursdays – Bible Study (5.30 pm) and
Sundays- Worship Service (9.00 am).

The centre also serves as the ministry’s operational headquarters for now.

8. Run Occasional Dominion Prayer School for Spiritual Awakening.

In spiritual race, prayer is indispensible because it provides the platform to tap the power of God and receive divine direction to subdue life’s challenges. God commands that we pray without ceasing and God has answer for anybody under any condition. However, only few people seek God to the point where God’s answer for their need is secured.

Many often produce answer for God on their prayers and such answers often offer short term benefit and long term regret. Therefore, praying is common among people in churches, on mountains and homes. However, praying to command heavenly attention and receive answer is not common.

To secure breakthrough in matters of prayer and capacity for praying, this occasional prayer school is designed for exposure on why you must pray, how to pray and why prayer may never produce results.

9. Run Dominion Bible School for Youthful Spiritual Leaders (Spiritual Leadership School).

This is a mentoring platform designed to lead youth to unfold God’s plan for their lives and to stand for it. It runs annually at Jesus centre, the operational headquarters of the ministry.

10. Establishment of Dominion Covenant Academy for revolution in education of children and youth for Godliness and Academic Excellence.

Dominion Covenant Academy was established by Christ Dominion Team International (a.k.a. Jesus Centre) as a revolution in balancing educational exposure with life and developmental skills.
We have a vision to raise God-fearing and excellent children like Joseph, Rebecca, Samuel, David, Esther and Daniel who by covenant of dominion turn things around for the next generation. It is an academy because the schools will teach special subjects for exposure of students to life vocational skills and sports.

LOCATION
The Academy is located along Ife–Ede–Osogbo Road,Ile-Ife,Nigeria. The location is about 500 meters away from the Obafemi Awolowo University gate along the road and seated on a 15 plot Landed Property.
